Throughout history the chemical industry has played a leading role in the development of new genres of products and advances in existing products across a wide range of industries. A constant stream of new chemical products and ingredients, including enhanced functional and value-added compounds, are creating solutions to many aspects of modern life, from improvements in our daily life to the protection of the global environment. In the apparel industry, for example, fine chemicals are being used to develop functional, high value-added clothing. Meanwhile, textiles are being enhanced for use in seating for vehicles and airplanes. Demand for high-functioning chemicals can only be expected to increase.
The Fine Chemicals Japan 2019 exhibition and conference is being launched in March 2019 in Tokyo to provide a platform for the exchange of information about the technological innovations and developments in this industry and to allow participants to create new business opportunities.
